President: Matteo carcassi

Matteo is a senior in materials science and engineering physics. He is interested in semiconductor technology, and has both research and industry experience in semiconductor materials. He also enjoys swing dancing, playing euphonium, and ultimate frisbee.

Olivia is a junior in materials science with a minor in math. She has experience researching chemistry and polymer science in both an academic and industrial setting. She is an avid enjoyer of tennis, baking, and literature.

Chase is a senior in materials science and engineering. His previous research focused on quasicrystalline structures, and solidification. In his free time, he likes to hang out with good fellas, usually accompanied by eating yummy food. He also has a youtube channel for gaming.

Eli is a junior in materials science and engineering with a minor in energy science and policy. His interests are in sustainable design and polymer materials. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys singing with the UM Men’s Glee Club and riding his bike.

Pranavi is a senior in materials science and engineering with a minor in environment. Her interest is in the intersection of sustainable infrastructure, public transit, and materials science. In her free time, she enjoys working out, crocheting, doing yoga, and watching TV.

Lillie is a senior in materials science and engineering with a minor in biology. She’s interested in the interconnection of materials sustainability and human health. Her favorite material is air dry clay. Outside of school she enjoys reading, swimming, and mending clothes.

Bella is a Sophomore in materials science and engineering with a minor in chemistry. Her area of interest is research on sustainable polymers, and she has experience with developing bioactive polymers. In her free time she enjoys baking, roller skating, and trying new cafes.

Amiya is a junior in materials science and engineering with a minor in Japanese language. Her interests are in sustainable material and process design in the consumer products and automotive industry. Outside of school, she plays on U of M’s women's ultimate frisbee team and also enjoys art and being outdoors.

Committee Representative: Binh Nguyen

Binh is a senior majoring in materials science and engineering with a minor in chemistry. His interests lie in ultra-high melting point ceramic materials for spacecraft thermal protection systems and in failure analysis, with hands-on experience in the aerospace industry. He also enjoys playing piano and guitar, watching movies, and spending quality time with friends.
